I've just recently switched from Symantec to Kaspersky and found a whopping 129 viruses that Norton didn't catch... Most of which were Trojand, Adware or Spyware through E-mails sent to the previous owner of my computer.

I've used AVG for years, I like the auto updates and the low profile. I haven't had a virus since I've been using it. Symantec's the leader in antivirus. While I was living in France, several years back, I did some work for their Paris office. This was just after they had setup the big computer in Holland to process any new virus and create a solution, in just four hours. Now that's service.
